Tiogam Money Manager

What Budgeting Software Ignores

Typical budgeting software tracks spending and account balances. Some provide methods to track automatic payments, and many provide consolidated or detailed transaction histories. I have not found a program that tells me whether I have enough money to spend for the next week, the next month, or the next quarter. They don't tell me if my savings and account balances protect me from bank fees and overdrafts.

We are building Tiogam Money Manager (TMM) to tell individuals whether cash is available to spend, how much is available, and whether the "well runs dry" in the coming months. TMM helps protect money for future needs while identifying what is available to safely spend. TMM answers the question, "Will money be available when it is needed?"

TMM divides money management into two parts: Budgeting and Cash Flow.

Most budgeting applications stop at budgeting. TMM manages accounts, automatic payment schedules and payments, ad hoc transactions, and transaction history. That is the budgeting data.

TMM uses historical income and spending to project cash flow into the coming weeks and months. It reports when cash is available and when a shortage appears.

Instead of guessing whether you have enough money, TMM helps you make that decision using your actual financial circumstances.
